My name is Natalie Hänninen-Pathirana, and I will be teaching grade 6 for the 2019-2020 school year. I have been at École Campbelltown for 11 years and have taught Grades 2, 3 and 6 in that time. I am currently working on my Masters in Education in “Études en langue et culture” (Language and Cultural studies) at the University of Alberta’s Campus Saint-Jean. I mostly grew up in Québec, however also spent some of my childhood in Ontario and New Brunswick. I have been in Alberta for almost 20 years ago now! How time flies!
I speak English and French fluently, a little bit of Spanish, and Finnish and Portuguese somewhat awkwardly. Nonetheless, I love languages and immensely enjoy being in multilingual and multicultural environments!
I love my job and look forward to an exciting new challenge in the upcoming school year.
You can reach me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at the school at (780) 467-5143.
The grade 6 classes will be using Google Classroom this year. You will receive instructions on how to access this site in September.
Looking forward to a great year,
